Some new beverage innovations are now hitting the shelves and the bars. If you are in the need for speed when it comes to maturing spirits in barrels, there are now shortcuts available. A new process ages spirits in a short period of time in a chemical reactor. The process applies specific conditions, and uses wood staves as well as automated analysis of aromatic compounds. And a new type of printer does not have an ink-on-paper output, but prints your beverage of choice based on a variety of ingredient cartridges. Now I raise my glass to innovation!
