Last month Canada published the “List of “Permitted Anticaking Agents” as part of its List of Permitted Food Additives. The list sets forth authorized food additives for the purpose of reducing the adhesion of particles to maintain favorable food texture. It is incorporated by reference in The Marketing Authorization for Food Additives That May Be Used as Anticaking Agents. The list includes maximum permitted use levels for various applications and replaces the 2012 legislation for anticaking agents. Ask us in case of further questions.
