Regulators Tie Hepatitis Cases to Strawberries

United States and Canadian regulators are investigating a recent hepatitis outbreak that may be linked to organic strawberries. Illnesses have occurred in Minnesota, California, and Canada and seem to be related to a brand of organic strawberries. The fruit was sold by multiple retailers including Trader Joe’s, Kroger, Walmart, and Aldi. There have been sixteen known hospitalizations and other incidences of illness.  By now the strawberries should be past their sell by date, so additional illness is expected.
