The regulatory landscape for the food and beverage industry is becoming increasing complex across the globe. Manufacturers must be familiar with global, regional and national regulatory bodies and their respective safety standards, which can vary from country to country, to be fully compliant and to protect brand integrity. To help Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) member companies keep up with evolving regulations, the GMA Science and Education Foundation, in partnership with Decernis, is presenting a series of three FREE webinars on food safety regulatory landscapes in three emerging markets: Latin America, India and China.
The title of the FREE webinar series is “Hot Topics Related to Food and Beverage Exports in Emerging Markets”. Decernis is pleased to extend an invitation to our clients to attend this free webinar series. The first webinar of the series is entitled “Recent Changes and Trends in Labeling and Food Additives in Latin America”, and will be held on October 18, 2017 at 12:00 PM EDT.
This webinar will examine regional roadblocks to market entry and regulatory harmonization in the Latin American region. The speakers will do a deeper dive into the latest labeling and food additives regulations and draft regulations under consideration and present an analysis of what manufactures can expect in the near future. This webinar will also touch on risk assessments pertaining to pesticide residues, documentation and certification and sustainability. Participants will have time to pose questions to our experts on other hot topics relevant to the region.
